E48-32 Signal Problems

DStv signal loss could be caused by a number of problems, however one of the most common DStv error codes that viewers experience is E48-32 that appears with the error message: "There is no signal. This may be due to bad weather or a faulty connection in the installation".


If you are seeing this error the problem could be temporary if caused by a a rain storm or bad weather, but could also unfortunately be permanent if your dish installation is faulty or the dish is obstructed.

There are some DStv error codes you can fix yourself, namely error codes E16, E17, E18, E19, E30, E32, and E107.


To do so now, grab your mobile phone and  follow this simple self service procedure:

  1. Dial *120*68584#
  2. Select customer number option and click send
  3. Select option 2 and click send
  4. Select option 1 and click send
  5. Select smart card number option and click send
  6. Select error code number option and click send
